Matt Papa
Spend any time talking with minister/artist Matt Papa, and one thing becomes immediately apparent: He’s clearly a man on a mission.Eschewing the typical small talk that usually happens before a conversation really gets started, Papa wastes no time digging into the heart of the matter. As an artist who mostly isn’t interested in simply making music for music’s sake, Papa writes songs that center around God’s word and doesn’t consider his job done until the lyrics have taken permanent residence in a listener’s gray matter.“Songs are sermons people remember” Papa says. “I often don’t remember a sermon I heard yesterday, let along a year ago. But with songs, there’s a hook, and people remember it. So that’s why I want to write with Scripture. I don’t want to waste time.“Staying right on point, the call to live intentionally is a theme that resonates deeply through the songs of Papa’s new Centricity Music release, Your Kingdom Come. Matt, Lauren, their 1.5 year old daughter Paisley, and baby-to-be now live in Raleigh, NC where matt serves at the Summit Church and still travels, preaching the gospel through music.

At CENTRIFUGE you can relax and let us take care of the details. In addition to powerful worship every morning and evening, your students will experience small-group Bible study and team-building recreation led by highly trained FUGE staffers. In the meantime, you and your adults have the chance to refresh and fellowship with leaders from other churches through adult Bible study and recreation. Afternoon track times give everyone the opportunity to participate in a favorite activity or learn something new. Every part of the day is planned and executed by our FUGE staff so you don’t have to worry about preparing for the next activity - you can focus on building relationships with your students.
Want to do your own camp but don’t have the time or energy to plan it all out? You can meet us in the middle at XFUGE. We’ll take care of all the big stuff: camp pastor, worship band, fun fellowships, lodging, food and even Bible study curriculum. Your group joins everyone in the morning and evening for camp-wide services and fellowships then you get to choose your experience for the rest of the day. With XFUGE, your group can participate in on-campus team building options or head out for some group adventures. With XFUGE on Mission, we’ll help set up ministry opportunities so your group can serve together. With both program, you and your adults also get to lead your group in the study and discussion of God’s Word.
